Recently, 2XU sent me a pair of compression tights specifically designed for running, and I can honestly say I really wish I'd had them all those months ago. They seem to be made well and have a great deal of stretch to them while still easily feeling the compression. Judging by their fitment chart they seem to be true to size for me. They seem to fit really well once I got used to the tightness of them. I've had these for two months now and wear them about two to three times a week jogging when the temp is below 50°. I am stocking up to have a pair for each day of the week because for me, they just work so well it seems worth it. The fact I can wear these all day, and to bed, and still feel cool is a testament to the product. My wife calls me her "thermal generator", and I live in south Texas. And although they are a lot thicker than other products, they breath exceptionally well. They are tight, they stay tight, but they stretch and move with me flawlessly. I wear them over boxer briefs, and they stay on while I am at work, home in the evening, and while I am sleeping. After one day in the first pair, I got a few more so I could wear them daily. But once they are on properly, you can immediately feel a huge difference. I am here to tell you they absolutely do! They are TIGHT putting them on, and take a little effort to get on. I have worn compression socks for years, and wondered if something like these would help more than just the socks. I have both sizes, and don't feel a whole lot of difference between the two except maybe a bit lighter around the hips in the XXL. I am somewhere between an XL and XXL currently. If there was ever a time for me to try something different, this was it. Also recovering from leg vein surgery and a torn calf muscle. Was it all hype? Why are some cheap and some so expensive? I am 6'3" 295lb with a 42 waist, in the early stages of a serious weight loss program and getting myself heathier. I have been skeptical of mens compression pants/tights/leggings for years.
